PICKING SCHEDULE
September 13, 2023: Apples are ready! We have Zestar, Connel Red, Honeycrisp and some Mac-Crosses! We do have bags available for picking at no charge.
Blueberries are done for the summer.
Late summer raspberries are coming along nicely. There are a few available on the bushes for picking, but the bulk of them won’t be ready for at least another week.
We will not have plums this year. The fungus that enveloped the trees this spring has taken its toll on the trees. Despite our best efforts to get rid of the fungus, it’s taken a strong hold and we will more than likely have to remove the trees as they are beginning to die.
Here are the crops available and their approximate picking schedule:
- Raspberries (red and black): July & September/October
- Blueberries: July – August
- Plums: August – September
- Apples: September – October
- Grapes: September – October
CURRENT PICKING CONDITIONS
Rated on a scale of 1 through 5: 1 being the least desirable and 5 being the best picking conditions.
- Raspberries: Red-<1, Black-0
- Blueberries: 0
- Plums: 0
- Apples: 5+
- Grapes: 0
